Publication Ethics

Our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in research publishing.

Ethics Statement

SVT Transactions on Engineering, Technology, and Applied Sciences adheres to strict ethical standards in all aspects of the publication process. We are committed to ensuring the integrity, transparency, and fairness of the peer review and publication process. All stakeholders — authors, reviewers, and editors — are expected to uphold these ethical principles.

Core Principles

Ethical Standards We Uphold

No Plagiarism

All submissions are screened using Turnitin / iThenticate plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with unacceptable levels of similarity will be immediately rejected.

No Duplicate Submissions

Manuscripts submitted to SVT-TETAS must not be under consideration at any other journal. Duplicate or concurrent submissions will result in rejection.

Proper Citation

Authors must properly cite all sources and give credit to the original work of others. Failure to attribute prior work constitutes ethical misconduct.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research. Reviewers and editors must declare conflicts of interest.

Authorship Integrity

Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Ghost authorship and gift authorship are not permitted.

Retraction Policy

Any ethical misconduct discovered after publication will lead to retraction. The journal will issue formal retraction notices and notify relevant parties.

Consequences of Ethical Misconduct

Any form of ethical misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission, or failure to disclose conflicts of interest, will result in:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript
  • Retraction of published articles
  • Notification to the author's institution
  • Possible ban from future submissions
